Got out of work about 17:30 to a dark Berlin night, took the S-Bahn to Brandenburger Tor for my timed 5K in the Tiergarten, during which I felt light (have dropped 3 kilos since October 1) and quite fast, a different feeling this run, more in control than simply being beaten by the run. I was at 16:30 at my Spree Tunnel turn-around point and so I knew I had a chance to get into the 23s if I pushed it. In the end, I finished with a 24:05 but have the feeling that I will drop into the 23s again next run.
After that I motored on straight down through Schöneberg taking the Vorarlberger Damm route which is quite nice since it gives you very long streets with no stop lights. The temperature was quite warm for November actually, about 9°C but still lots of fresh air.
