Gisi and I hadn't run together for quite awhile so we decided to run our 8K route that we usually take long walks on which runs through Marienfelde to Osdorfer Str. However, when we were nearing the end, it was such a nice fall-weather day that we decided to extend our run by finding a route to Teltow and then take the S-Bahn back.
We cut under the S-Bahn bridge at Licherfelde Süd, then into north Teltow and eventually found a road that took us into a kind of no-man's land between the S-Bahn tracks and the regional train tracks, an area that is cut off from both Berlin and Brandenburg with one country house and a lonely horse ranch or sorts.
We came out on the other side of the regional tracks then ran straight down to the Teltow regional train station which gave us a one-kilometer finish back up to the Teltow S-Bahn.
It was a geographically interesting run and one with beautiful fall colors.
