20K Easy Teltow Canal and Zehlendorf Suburbia Run
By the time we got out today the day had turned from gray overcast to sunny and springy. Gisi and I took off down the canal, at the turnaround 5K point I went straight, picked up a drink at the gas station at the Drakestr. bridge, then ran up the canal again head-on toward Gisi and passed it to her as we crossed, she ran back home and I ran on down the canal, had a nice pace but then eased up for a very relaxing 20K run, turned up at the Teltow bridge and instead of running up Teltower Damm all the way to the S-Bahn station, got one street over and found the Heinrich Laehr Park with its wide, long paths, run up and around it, then cut through "Zehlendorf suburbia" across the Dahlemer Weg train tracks and back down to the canal. Finish with a steady pace and a light sun burn on my face, awesome!
