Before today's run, I retired my old, very worn-out Asics shoes which had dutifully served for over 100 training runs and 2 marathons over the past years, and replaced them with my new Brooks shoes that I bought the other day, which proved today to be very comfortable and supportive. I ran my 11K with timed-5K IKEA run, legs were strong but I my lungs couldn't keep up with the pace. Regardless, I clocked another sub-24 5K, ran home, and then took off for another 7K with Gisi, in preparation for our Poznan Half Marathon in April. Today was not a nice day to run: drizzle rain and cold enough that one couldn't run in a t-shirt. Looking forward to warmer, spring-like weather.
