Edward's Marathon Training Site

Took off at 6:55 AM when it was a bit dark and cold, wore my fall running attire: black nike cap, jacket, long black running pants, hands were cold for 20 minutes then things warmed up, it's definitely not summer anymore, ran through Dahlem to Clayalle then took Hohenzollerndamm and extended streets all the way through Berlin to Potdamerstr. and back down to Innsbrucker Platz and back home. Music-induced fast running at beginning and end, with a hour-long StackExchange podcast in the middle. That was 20K, then got home, picked up Gisi and we went for another 10K down the canal, lots of runners out, cool crisp morning.

20K break drink at home, picked up Gisela and back out for 10 more 

 

our 5K turn around point 

 

love these packed sacks and the industrial background 

 

the second 5K Gisela said for me to run on ahead and we ran the second half faster, total 10K = 01:16:00, race in two weeks
