Gisi and I realized we hadn't run a training run together for months, and since she got a new Garmin Forerunner 35 for her birthday, we finally spent the better part of an hour setting it up and learning how to use it, and then took it for its maiden run. We also bought me a Neon-yellow Windprotection-Laufjacke from Tchibo yesterday, which I wore for the first time. We did our long Teltow loop, but this time went down the north side which is a lot more interesting running, with bridge and narrow, winding path ways, but also lots of roots protruding from the ground. This is the route of the Teltow 7K/14K/21K next week which we won't be doing this year since we will probably run the Tegeler Wald Lauf the week after. By the time we got back we had done 15.6 kilometers according to Gisi's Garmin, which also bluetoothed seemlessly to her phone which showed us an accurate route of our run on Google Maps.
