My Reviews of Video Tutorials
I watch a couple segments of these videos everyday, a nice way to relax and keep a wide-spectrumed buzz of technologies running through my head. Each video has 7-10 hours of some expert SHOWING you full screen how to do things, segments broken down into 5-10 minute sections, nice, much better than books in many cases (e.g. for learning Flash or Java EE). Note that these videos are all in German, most of them from Video2Brain and a couple from Galileo Computing, the ones from Video2Brain are generally more natural (some expert just showing you want he does best) whereas the ones from Galileo Computing are more formal and schoolish. I really enjoy the personality/voice contact that you don't get from a book, and the fact that you can easily listen to a section over and over until you understand it is excellent. If anyone knows of this quality of training video in English (or French), then please tell me.
